Make a Dora the Explorer Costume

Halloween is coming up soon, and it's time to create a Dora the Explorer halloween costume for the kids. We'll demonstrate how to transform the kids favorite bilingual explorer into their favorite pint-sized adventurer using this great homemade Dora the Explorer halloween costume.

Materials You Will be needing for the Dora Costume

    * 1 Pink t-shirt
    * Paif of Orange slacks
    * White athletic shoes
    * Dark brown wig with bangs
    * Various Beads
    * Piece of Elastic string
    * Blue backpack
    * White Socks
    * Yellow-colored ruffle trim
    * A Needle and thread
    * Colored markers
    * Wiggly plastic eyes

Here's Where the Dora the Explorer Halloween costume Comes Together

Dora couldn't survive Dora without her trusty Backpack. First we'll use a light blue backpack and on the back, draw a cartoon nose and mouth using the colored markers. Next, we'll glue the wiggly eyes to the backpack, and bingo, we have got Backpack's face. Exactly like Dora's.

For Dora's socks, we'll use the needle and thread to add the yellow ruffle trim across the top. Next, wrap the elastic around your child’s wrist so it is comfortably tight and cut it two inches longer than the length of the string. Now string the beads onto the elastic, Make sure to center the design around a large flower or charm for a nice design. Finally, tie the elastic ends to create Dora’s one of a kind bracelet for your great Dora costume
